If you are the buyer
Complete the authentication challenge, if you have not already.
If you are the seller
Do not ship or deliver yet. Wait until the payment is approved.
If you are the developer
General engineering advice (not from Mercado Pago's documentation): Not a failure and not final. Keep the order pending, make sure the buyer can complete the challenge in your checkout, and update the order when the notification for this payment arrives (verify the signature first).
