What cc_rejected_bad_filled_security_code means in Mercado Pago
Payment status: rejected
Short answer
The card's security code looks wrong. Mercado Pago asks the buyer to check it.
If you are the buyer
Check the security code on the card and try again.
If you are the seller
Nothing to do on your side; the buyer corrects the code and pays again.
If you are the developer
General engineering advice (not from Mercado Pago's documentation): Show a field-specific message on the security code input and let the buyer correct it. Send a new payment request for the new attempt.
Source
The meaning comes from the Mercado Pago developer documentation, verified on 2026-11-04. Buyer and seller steps follow from it; developer notes are general engineering practice, not Mercado Pago documentation.
