What cc_rejected_card_disabled means in Mercado Pago
Payment status: rejected
Short answer
The card is not active. The buyer has to call the card provider to activate it or use another payment method.
If you are the buyer
Call the card provider to activate the card (the phone number is on the back of the card) or pay with another payment method.
If you are the seller
Ask the buyer to activate the card or choose another payment method.
If you are the developer
General engineering advice (not from Mercado Pago's documentation): A new attempt with the same card will fail until the buyer has activated it. Offer another payment method instead of retrying automatically.

The meaning comes from the Mercado Pago developer documentation, verified on 2026-11-04. Buyer and seller steps follow from it; developer notes are general engineering practice, not Mercado Pago documentation.
